When planning a Wedding, Bar, or a Bat Mitzvah in Maryland or Virginia it is easier than ever now because there are so many helpful resources to assist you in making sure you can plan your event ensuring everything goes just about as smoothly as possible.

One of the keys to this is definitely having a strong planning phase and being organized. Any party planner will tell you that organization helps so much. Organizing your timeline helps visualize each step of the process and about when you would want to complete each step of the event planning phase.

As apart of what I love helping our clients with, I like to provide occasional helpful tips and resources for you to use to ensure you have as many tools at your fingertips as possible.

Planning an event can be daunting to say the least. What do I do?!?!?! When do I do it?!?!?! If this is your FIRST Wedding or Mitzvah it can be doubly overwhelming. Well, fear not my faithful blog readers. I am here to help. And so is Heidi Hiller of Innovative Parry Planners. Heidi is a Wedding, Mitzvah, and Corporate event planner based out of Owings Mills, Maryland. She has 21 years  experience and has planned over 1,000 events in the Maryland and Virginia area.

I asked Heidi what the most important thing to remember and keep in the front of your mind when planning a large event like a wedding or a Bar or Bat Mitzvah. According to Heidi, "Avoid getting overwhelmed with everything by setting priorities and deadlines well in advance. This should also allow you time to make good decisions."

Use both to organize your todo's and allocate the correct time to do them. If you are planning to use a party planner they will also help take much if not all of the weight from planning off of your shoulders. I've photographed over 200 events which include Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and weddings in the Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia area and events always run much more smoothly with a planner. The family is much more relaxed and able to enjoy the fruits of the celebration in a way that doesn't involve over-thinking or worrying. Let that up to your party planner.
